Introduction

Operation: War of Shadows is the 97th Special Event to be presented in War Commander.
In most cases Commanders are challenged to complete increasingly more difficult objectives against one or more Rogue Factions. With the successful completion of each objective in the allotted time the Player is awarded with special Event Experience Points (eXP) which they may in turn use to unlock Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop.
The Event Format for each Special Event may vary, see below for more information.

Event Shop

Event Experience Points (eXP)

The Player is awarded eXP for every successfully completed target during an active Event. These points may be tracked by the Player in the Event Panel located above the Mission Panel while both on the World Map and in the Player's Base.

Special Event Prizes

The Event Shop may only be accessed while inside the Player's Base. As the Player acquires eXP, they may at any time during and up to 48 hours after the end of the Event, choose to spend all or a portion of their eXP on one or more of the newly introduced Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop. Also available in the Event Shop are all the past Special Event Prizes excluding any Removed or Locked. The Event Shop is split into two separate sections: Unowned - Shows all current and available past Special Event Prizes not currently unlocked by the Player. Owned - Shows all Special Event Prizes available for the current Event that the Player has already unlocked.

Use It Or Lose It

Following the conclusion of the Special Event : The Event Shop will remain open for 48 Hours. Any unused eXP at the time the Event Shop closes will be lost. If a Player has no remaining eXP at the end of the Event the Event Shop will close immediately

Additional Information

• All Players begin the event with 4 Restart Tokens.
• Operation: War of Shadows utilizes a updated version of the Faction Track System.
  • MAIN TRACK :
    • 16 Total Main Track Missions ( 12 Attack & 4 Defense ).
      • Defense Missions are Optional and can be restarted if initially failed.
      • Every third Main Track Mission unlocks a Faction Track Mission.
  • FACTION TRACK :
    • 4 Total Faction Track Missions ( All Attack ).
      • Faction Track Ally : Survivors.
        • Units from the Survivors Faction may be used in each Faction track base.
      • Additional Restart Tokens awarded for completing Mission #3.
  • SARKIS TRACK :
    • 3 Total Sarkis Track Missions ( All Attack ).
      • Grants a Hidden Cache Map Piece upon the completion of the final Base.
• Maximum Event Experience Points ( eXP ) payouts per fully completed pass of ALL tack missions :
  • 1,473,000 eXP - Complete pass of all Main Track ( Attack & Defense ) and Faction Track Missions.
    • 923,000 eXP - Main Track Missions Completed.
      • 775,000 eXP - Attack Missions
      • 148,000 eXP - Optional Defense Missions
    • 375,000 eXP - Faction Track Missions
    • 175,000 eXP - Sarkis Track Missions
• Level 1000 Sector Base :
  • Awards one from each of the following :
    • 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 Omega Chopper Company Scrap Parts.
      • If a base is completed by a player with Template:TxAqua already the are awarded 5,000,000 Thorium instead of parts.
• Platoon Infamy exchange will be disabled for the duration of the event.
